in conjunction with a "TIMBER LOOK-A-LIKE"
grained aluminium, again the window frame stays in the existing position, we remove the opening sash/es and the complete window from the outside is profiled in ALUMINIUM in a SEAMLESS MATCH
to the existing style of the window frame.
Once profiled, the water can not penetrate through to the timber, the beads of water just sit on top of the aluminium to run and/or air dry off as per the pictures show below creating "NO-MORE" painting or maintenance.
The four colours are: WALNUT, FLOODED GUM, PINETAR and MOUNTAIN ASH

Timber windows that have been stained on the outside look fantastic for about a year or two, then the sun and rain start to break down the stain causing it to peel and lift off. Once this process starts and is left for prolonged periods, the timber gets darker and always goes black and once this accures, stripping the window back to bare timber again is your only hope of retaining the look and is A VERY COSTLY EXERCISE and the results once completed can be disappointing.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN MAKING YOUR FINAL DECISION:
3 trades are necessary to install a new window; i.e
CARPENTER for the removal, installation and tip fee of the new window.
PLASTERER/TILER to make good the damage on the inside AND.....
PAINTER to re-paint the wall inside (possibly the room as well) and to coat the window 3 times inside and out.

A kitchen atrium style window set to a job in Templestowe. The window is leaking water in from the top and staining the white painted timber on the inside and the granite bench top has been fitted around the vertical mullions of the the window frame and if removed would create a massive internal mess to plasterboard surface areas aswell.
Now custom profiled in situe using the Aluminium TIMBER LOOK-A-LIKE colour Flooded Gum all creating that seamless match and no-more leaking water to the inside.
The beads to this atrium style window set have rotted away and the timber has gone black through water damage creating a very unsitely look.
